Ingredients

  • * 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • * 3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • * 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • * 1 teaspoon oregano
  • * 2 teaspoons paprika
  • * 2 teaspoons cumin
  • * 3 teaspoons salt
  • * 3 teaspoons black pepper
  • * 6 oz tomato paste
  • * 32 oz diced tomatoes
  • * 1 package sun-dried tomatoes
  • * 2 cups frozen corn kernels
  • * 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries
  • * 1/2 bottle red wine (or substitute with broth)

Instructions

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  • 2. Add onions and garlic; sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • 3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  • 4. Stir in water and chili seasoning mix; bring to a boil.
  • 5. Reduce heat and add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, corn, and 1/2 cup cranberries. Mix well.
  • 6. Pour in red wine or broth and stir.
  • 7. Cover and let simmer for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • 8. Add remaining cranberries before serving.
  • 9. Serve hot with cornbread, rice, or favorite toppings.
