  • Author: Chef Ella
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving (12-16 oz glass) 1x

Description

This loaded tea recipe is a delicious, refreshing, and energizing drink packed with bold flavors, natural ingredients, and essential vitamins. Perfect for a midday boost or pre-workout drink, this tea is easy to make at home using simple ingredients!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup brewed green tea (cooled)
  • ½ cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1 tbsp flavored drink mix (e.g., blue raspberry, mango, or cherry)
  • ½ tsp caffeine powder or green tea extract (optional)
  • 12 tbsp natural sweetener (honey, agave, or stevia)
  • ½ tsp B-vitamin powder or liquid B12 (optional for an energy boost)
  • ½ tsp aloe vera juice (for hydration)
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Fresh fruit slices (lemon, orange, or berries for garnish)

Instructions

  • Brew the tea and let it cool completely.
  • In a shaker or large glass, combine the brewed tea, cold water, and flavored drink mix. Stir or shake well.
  • Add caffeine powder, sweetener, and B-vitamins (if using). Mix thoroughly until dissolved.
  • Pour over ice and stir well.
  • Garnish with fresh fruit slices for extra flavor and presentation.
  • Enjoy immediately! Stir occasionally to keep the ingredients well mixed.

Notes

  • For a caffeine-free version, use herbal tea instead of green tea and skip the caffeine powder.
  • To make it extra refreshing, blend with ice for a slushie-like texture.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less natural sweetener.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 24 hours, but fresh is always best!
