Ingredients
Scale
- 6 English muffins, split in half
- 1 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or paprika)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to broil (high setting). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix softened butter, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful not to break it apart too much.
- Spread the crab mixture evenly over the English muffin halves, covering them completely.
- Place the muffins on the prepared baking sheet and broil for 3-5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly toast the English muffins before adding the crab mixture.
- Add diced jalapeños for a spicy twist or mix in a little cream cheese for extra creaminess.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat under the broiler for 2-3 minutes to restore crispiness.
